This report has been used with permission from Lennox Industries, Inc. The testing was performed by the Lennox Research and Development Center in Carrollton, Texas. This report demonstrates the performance of coils coated with aluminum-impregnated Blygold PoluAl as compared to similar uncoated coils. The data shows that within the relevant range of operation, coils coated with Blygold PoluAl closely mimic the performance of uncoated coils.

Please note: According to the engineer in charge of this testing, the data for test coils Blygold #1 and Blygold #2 on both the circuit and graph for Wet/Dry Pressure Drop were accidentally switched. The performance curve for Blygold # 2 on the graph corresponds to the data on the chart Blygold #1 and the performance curve for Blygold #1 on the graphs corresponds to the data on the chart Blygold #2. There is also a variation on the performance of the two Blygold PoluAl coated coils that can be attributed to the minor difference in fin density of the two coils.
